Professors’ Council Meeting No. (2025/2) – Monday, June 30, 2025

The University Professors’ Council convened its second meeting for the year 2025 (Meeting No. 2025/2) on Monday, June 30, 2025, at 8:00 AM Sudan time. The meeting was held virtually via Google Meet and was chaired by the University President, Professor Nasr Al-Din Mohamed Ahmed Sharif, with the participation of the Secretary for Academic Affairs, Professor Ibtihal Gamal Al-Din Al-Sadiq, the Provost, Dr. Abdel Rahman Abdel Wahab, and esteemed members of the council.

At the outset, the University President welcomed all council members.

The council approved the minutes of the previous meeting (2025/1), as well as the statistical report on the implementation of its decisions.

The meeting also included the approval of graduation results for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs across various faculties:

A total of 90 undergraduate students graduated from nine different faculties.

The Graduate School recorded 110 graduating students across applied and humanities programs, including:

6 Postgraduate Diploma students

88 Master’s students

12 PhD candidates

Among international students, there was 1 Master’s student and 3 PhD candidates.

The council also discussed several other student-related cases.

In conclusion, the University President expressed his sincere thanks to all members for their active and valuable participation in the meeting.
