The University Senate held its meeting No. (2025/3) on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. Sudan time, virtually via Google Meet.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Nasr Al-Din Mohammed Ahmed Sharif, the University President, with the attendance of Professor Ibtihal Gamal Al-Din Al-Sadiq, Dean of Academic Affairs, along with the deans of faculties and directors of various departments.

He opened the meeting by welcoming the members of the Senate and reciting verses from the Holy Qur’an. He also prayed for mercy upon the souls of the university’s staff who had passed away, and asked Allah to grant a speedy recovery to all the sick members of the university.

The Senate approved the minutes of the previous meeting and the statistical report of the Senate resolutions No. (2025/2).

It also approved the graduation results of students from various faculties in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The number of undergraduate graduates was 288 students from different faculties. As for the Postgraduate Studies Faculty, the total number of students in applied and humanities programs was 70, in postgraduate diploma, master’s, and doctoral programs.

The Senate also discussed a number of student cases and other topics.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency praised the great efforts made by the Academic Affairs Administration in the preparation and good organization. He also extended thanks and appreciation to the deans of faculties and their administrations for the efforts that contributed to the successful completion of the educational process, and thanked all members of the Senate for their attendance and valuable, active participation in the meeting.
